Incredible sandwich spot! Their house-made hoagie rolls are absolutely elite. I ordered the Bowsprit Bird chicken sandwich, which was fresh and excellent. Their expansive sandwich menu has a great mix of hot and cold options, from classic ham, Italian trios, to solid vegetarian choices. Everything comes with a side, making it an awesome value.
There is something about the outside of their hoagie rolls that is indescribably good. It's like this buttery, salty, thin, crispy outside. Don't even get me started on the deli meats and giardiniera. My god.

Do note however that Hog Island Hoagie *is* inside Petoskey's Sports Bar, which threw me off for a moment. No impact on my review though, but I would mention that the atmosphere and volumemay be subject to change depending on sport seasons and such.
