Sweet worker helped me choose a pastry to go with my coffee. I tried a filipino cheesecake I'd never heard of. Both the pastry and coffee were perfect.
Nice music, not so loud that one can't converse. Clean space. Enjoyable little window bar seats.

Always a delight to visit Hood Famous in the International District!

The bibingka blueberry corn muffin is such a delicious twist on the classic Filipino dessert—familiar, but with a fun little upgrade. The Lilikoi Matcha Sparkler was refreshingly different, with plenty of matcha flavor and a bright splash of lilikoi.

I was also lucky enough to try the ube pandan soft serve, which was creamy, refreshing, and dangerously easy to finish....

Wonderful cafe!!! My friend and I arrived here to wait for an Amtrak after more than 24 hours of travel. We were looking for suggestions/asking questions and the barista behind the counter was amazing. They were patient, so friendly, gave detailed suggestions, and honestly flipped our day around.

My friend ordered an iced latte and I ordered a matcha with sampaguita syrup! Both drinks were good and strong — we wound up ordering a second drink each...
