Plenty of street parking around the area, offers both indoor and outdoor seating. Restaurant charges a 22% service fee automatically on the bill. Service is excellent. Food plating and presentation all look amazing! Taste is somewhat above average.

We’ve hosted several large dinners and also date nights, the team always is out to impress! The carpaccio is out of this world, don’t skip the sea wolf bread.Dietary restrictions: They’re very conscientious about restrictions, the process is super easy when you make your rez on the esr website.

Such a great restaurant!I had a fabulous dinner last night. We got the Duck Liver Mousse, it was perfect. No notes. Duck liver is a favorite food of mine so I feel confident when I say this was one of the best I’ve had.We also (not pictured) got the Baby Gem Salad. It was good, classic, easy side dish.We also go the Yeasted polenta thingys (forget the exact name) they were good, but just okay to me, my friend said he loved them. We both agreed they were very sweet and almost felt more desserty. The Raviolo was sooooo good. Delicious crab. But the bolognese……. OMG that was the star of the show. Best bolognese we’ve ever had. You have to get it. It was such an elevated rendition of a classic pasta dish. Id go back for that (and the duck liver)The tiramisu was fine, not the best. Maybe their other desserts are better.Would definitely recommend this place for a fun fancy date night

This restaurant has been on my list of must trys for a while and on Valentine's Day, we finally had a chance! We went to the Madison Park location (which is a beautiful area). The restaurant is located in a street with other small shops and restaurants, but was easy to find. Parking was not an issue when we went so no need to scramble to find a spot. Since it was our first time, we opted to get the Valentine's course meal. We were pleasantly surprised that the first course came with everything on the list while the second, third, and dessert courses you were able to choose from some options. We started off with the Hamachi Crudo, Beef Tartare, Burrata, and Beet Salad. All tasted amazing and were portioned nicely that you could sample each without getting too full. I would say the Hamachi Crudo was my favorite. The second course consisted of a choice of pastas. We got the Tagliatelle and Calamarata. Both came out piping hot and the noodles were a nice al dente. Out of the two, we preferred the Calamarata since it had a nice balance with the tomato sauce and seafood. For the third course, we decided to get the scallops and elk loin. The scallops were cooked very well being soft and tender. It was served on a bed of white beans which had an almost Spanish flare to it. The elk loin was good as well, but from someone who doesn't eat elk too often, the texture and gaminess reminded us a lot of duck. By the time dessert came around, we were already pretty full but still ordered for dine in! We got the raspberry sorbetto and the Almond Frangipane Torte. We got a heaping scoop of the sorbet, which was a little sour but delightfully light after the rest of the meal. The Almond Frangipane reminded us a lot of the Chinese Almond cookies, which was a nice surprise and something different from our normal dessert ventures. Aside from the food, the service was great with the wait staff being very attentive and friendly! The ambience of the restaurant is what you would expect from a finer dining establishment. Although the food was quite pricey, I would come here again to try their other dishes for future occasions!

I went here tonight for Valentine's Day with my partner and was pretty disappointed with what we experienced given the $400+ bill. Our server was very nice and personable, but we were rushed through our first two courses. We had to actually ask them to give us more time for our third course so we weren't chugging our wine pairing. I understand that reservations are limited and table turnover is important, but c'mon, it's Valentine's Day - give us a couple extra minutes to enjoy our rare date night and not guzzle our wine. They were pacing at getting us through 5 courses with a wine pairing in an hour. It's a Wednesday, for Pete's sake. The food was decent. The highlight was the tagliatelle - it was wonderful. The rest of the dishes were extremely salty. I could barely get through the gnocchi and the elk loin was difficult to chew. The risotto almost hit the spot, but again, was heavy on the salt. The irritating cherry on top of this date night was the 22% automatic service charge they added to our tab. The hostess warned us of this added charge, though didn't mention the percentage. The waitress claimed they were "tip free" and I almost laughed. How exactly is the customer taking on a mandatory 22% added onto an already pricey cheque "tip free?" These are the moments where I understand the frustration behind tip culture and our global acceptance of it. If I could do tonight over again, I'd save my money and find a place that can deliver food and service that warrants a 22% tip.

Came here for the fix menu valentine's dinner The value you get for the food is great, I also thought that the way it was served plus the timing were also spot on. For the appetizers they brought them out in a good order. It felt like each dish was slowly getting heavier, starting with the beet salad and ending with the tartare. Of what we got we would recommend the burrata that's also on their regular menu. But of the offered the favorite was the beet salad. Calamarata had great flavor, but the tagliatelle was a little too salty for me, but good overall. The elk loin was smaller than I thought it would be, if sharing and you're having some of another plate then it's fine, but as a standalone it wouldn't be enough. Overall great atmosphere, food, and service. They had some tables you can put together for groups of about 6, but gives off more of a nice date place space

All of the food is quite well made here, and the pastas are very good. Ordered the broccoli, carpaccio, crudo, 2 pastas, and the duck for 2 and it was around $100 a person without alcohol. The pricing adds up rather quickly here without some careful planning, but we did definitely order more food than 2 people necessarily need as we intended to have some leftovers.

This is EASILY my favorite restaurant in Seattle. Whenever we have a special occasion or want to take an out-of-town visitor to an incredible dinner, we choose How to Cook a Wolf. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by attentive and friendly staff. Always make sure to have a reservation, as this place is popular and for good reason. The menu is seasonal and provides fresh farm-to-table options. It's really hard to go wrong here. Plates are generally meant to be shared so everyone gets a taste of a bit of everything. I also think it's a great way to keep conversation going at the table as well.I really don't know how to say enough about the service. Their team is comprised of the highest caliber people. These are obviously members of the service industry who do this as their passionate profession and love what they do. It's so nice to go to a place where this is obviously their standard. Rare to find nowadays. The atmosphere is just impressive. The wood slats that continue up the wall in a curve give it an almost ship-like feel. I highly recommend sitting outside as well. The weather doesn't have to cooperate, as the stalls they've created in the courtyard area have space heaters and are very comfortable even in the rain.If you haven't been here before, make sure you go. It's not just dinner, it's an experience that you will not soon forget. I also believe the level of experience you get for the price is unmatched.

Kayden at the bar was great. Service was excellent. Greeted at the door warmly welcomed and seated according to preference. Interior was fine, but nothing to write home about; am imitation of the QA location. Was the first one in at five, when the doors opened, but by the time I left -- an hour later -- it was full. Popular place. (Let me put this out there early: unlike the Queen Anne location, Madison Park actually has a lot of free parking around, so it's more convenient. Keep that in mind when you're trying to decide which location to enjoy.)We ordered a bottle of red for $35, a couple of appetizers and an entrée. The calamarata was excellent when hot. And it was served hot. Which was delicious. And they are playing all the BEST music from junior high. Somehow good music always makes the food taste better, doesn't it?Burrata with cippolini onion, fresh arugula, fried sage, almond, balsamic, crostini. More crostini would have been good.Yeasted Polenta Fritters -- oh my Jesus -- these were served hot on chilled house made ricotta made tangy with lemon drizzled with warm chestnut honey, garnished with fried sage. Delicious.Calamarata -- prawn, tomato, soffrito, pamgrattato. Home made pasta. Temperature matters again. The pasta was delicious when hot. After all that deliciousness, the barkeep decided to bring out some holiday cheer...with a solid pour of dark rum. It was a lovely touch at the end of our meal.We were also informed when we first sat down and before we finished payment that 22% had been included for tip. That transparency was very appreciated.

The gnocchi and broccoli were both lights out, fantastic! Sadly the rest of the dishes were fine (burrata, hamachi) and the raddichio salad (castelfranco) was nearly inedible. It tasted insanely fishy (secret unnoted anchovy in their green goddess dressing) with no other flavor really. Two items we ordered included anchovy with no note which I found really strange. The cannolis were flavorless :(. Also, though the grilled seawolf is amazing, $11 for 2 slices of bread is bonkers.
