Was looking forward to the Japanese food at this place since it was highly rated. Unfortunately it didn’t end up as tasty as imagined. We both ordered the Osaka okonomiyaki and couldn’t finish it. Instead of saucing it authentically with kewpie mayo and okonomiyaki sauce, it was doused with teriyaki and ranch - which was surprising since they even sell kewpie at the location.It was presented nicely and the coffee was pretty decent, but I was just bummed about the lack of authenticity.
We just moved to the area and already know this spot will be a staple for us. We stopped by for lunch yesterday and got miso soups, the Tobago Gohan egg bowl and the Kokumi melt. The bowl was fresh and flavorful — delicious and dynamic. The sandwich was insanely delicious (“best sandwich I’ve ever had in Seattle” according to my husband.) The service was fantastic and the space was quiet and cozy. Again, we’ll be back. Often. :)

The bowls here are pretty good and it's a chill place to hang! I really liked this place because it was a local cafe open late. I'd often frequent here after work. Looks like they adjusted their schedule though so they close early now :( I really hope they consider having later hours again
