Always love a good visit to La carta. Another spot my family’s been coming to for years. As with most places in Seattle the prices go higher as the portions go lower, something I understand working at a restaurant but that doesn’t make it any less annoying paying $15 for chips and guac. That being said the foods so great when it comes out you forget about that and I’ll still always recommend it. Tip- best thing on the menu imo is served only at lunch...
We had the carne asada, molotes, tacos camarones, tacos dorados, and pozole! Food is excellent every time we come here. New favorite Mexican place in Seattle!
Edit 1: we have continued to return to La Carta, and a new favorite is the chile relleno. It looks like they have started closing between 3 and 5 and eliminated the happy hour which is unfortunate. We mostly practice intermittent fasting and often eat dinner early. We will still come in though!

I’m visiting from Japan. This was my first time having authentic Mexican cuisine. Everything was delicious, with natural flavors that really highlighted the quality of the ingredients.
