Lai Rai Restaurant and Bar Reviews
The red curry cauliflower banh mi is incredible. Overall the food is always really good and I love how creative their menu is. Would make a great date night spot, the vibes are perfect.
Great new restaurant. We came for Sunday brunch. The menu is really cool, loosely interpreted Vietnamese fusion. The money bread was yummy with a ton of ube-chocolate sauce over top but needed a bit of salt/salted butter. The bo kho was the best thing we had, and the hash brown chunks in the stew liquid were delicious. The brunchwrap was good, especially the fruity hot sauce, but it got soggy from sitting on a bunch of very bland "crema".
We had a decent meal but took a long time to get served even with a mostly empty restaurant and ample staff. High overcharges if you call your alcohol in a cocktail.
Lai Rai Restaurant and Bar offers a creative and loosely interpreted Vietnamese fusion menu, with dishes like the red curry cauliflower banh mi and the bo kho (beef stew) receiving high praise. The money bread with ube-chocolate sauce and the hash brown chunks in the stew liquid are also standout menu items. While the service can be slow during busy periods, the restaurant's vibrant atmosphere makes it a great option for date nights or brunch with friends.
