I had a wonderful evening this week with a friend at Le Caviste. The last time I visited this wine bar was several years ago. I don't know why it fell off my radar, but it is back on it. The glasses of wine (5 ounce pours) are reasonably priced, and they offer a great variety. I selected a full bodied Gigondas and was not disappointed. The bites offered are also tasty. We opted for the olives, a nice creamy cheese served with an ample portion of baguette, and the tasty roasted mushrooms. Please give this establishment a try! Service was smooth and unobtrusive. I recommend arriving soon after they open at four because the space does fill up quickly.

We loved this place for a romantic dinner. There were excellent wine selections, from whites, reds, desserts, and simple, yet complimentary dishes and very rich cheeses to pair with.The atmosphere felt cozy, and nicely lit for a subtle candlelit environment.The service was average. I will say that one of the waitresses seemed slightly impatient, had an interesting tone and demeanor, as if she was portraying a superiority over our table with her wine knowledge, assuming that we didn't know anything about wines/regions. Oh well, we were cool anyways and just enjoyed our special dinner.Parking is tough as it is downtown, so plan accordingly.

This is a charming and unexpected little place in the middle of Amazonia. I liked the food, the wine, and the atmosphere, though my dinner date was a dud. I particularly enjoyed the plate of smoked fish. I'll be back (maybe with some girlfriends rather than a date!)

A hidden little gem in the middle of Seattle downtown. They have good recommendations even for a picky guest. Don't overlook their dishes too, white fish and a selection of cheeses pair will well with what you drink and maybe help you run longer.

A friend recommended this place, and we were not disappointed. Make sure to go early, and get yourself a table. The food is so so good. The staff is so so friendly, and the prices are good.
The wines are all great and surprisingly well priced for the quality. The food selection is minimal as it is a wine bar after all, it's not trying to be a dinner restaurant as they don't have a full kitchen, but you can and should plan to go there for dinner too as the food they do have available is all outstanding.
