Located across from Maple Leaf Reservoir Park, it is a great spot to start or end a walk. The bakery provides a variety of pastries, coffee cakes, cinnamon rolls, desserts, and heartier fare, along with a big selection of drinks, both hot and cold. The cafe has plenty of indoor seating, including tables and booths, but pets are not welcome inside. Outdoor seating is available, though there is no shade outside during midday. The staff are friendly and patient, and the stock levels are always good. The morning roll and cinnamon roll are customer favorites, and the bread and croissants are highly praised. The bakery also offers a variety of quiche and light lunch items, making it a nice spot for enjoying a latte and a croissant. However, the chocolate and peanut butter cake was not up to par, and the mocha latte was not piping hot as requested. Customers have noted that the place is busy, but the system runs smoothly. Some recommend taking the #67 bus due to limited street parking.
