I always recomend going here to friends and if my family is in from out of town, I take them here. Lunch is casual but the plates are well priced for the value and flavor. Dinner is a treat - but it's the fabulous service and the ambiance that makes this place special.
Located right above the market, the restaurant has a nice feel to it. Great service and the food excellent. The seafood stew was brilliant and the bread pudding dessert, one of the best I've had. Thoroughly recommend.
Our first real visit to Seattle was great. Matt's was recommended for food and sunset views. We loved our table by the windows which were open to the fresh cool air. My spouse enjoyed the seafood chowder and my halibut was very good though overwhelmed a bit by the red sauce. Cocktails were original and very good. The port flight was enjoyed by one of our dinner companion. Wonder experience!
