We recently dined at Metropolitan Grill in Seattle, a classic steakhouse with a long-standing reputation and an unmistakably old-school atmosphere. While the overall experience was enjoyable, our impression of the steaks was somewhat underwhelming. They were good and properly prepared, but for a restaurant at this price point, we expected something more exceptional. We went to celebrate a birthday! Lovely, cozy restaurant with big, comfortable booths that are so tall you can't hear or see the person behind you. LOVE that! The sommelier was fantastic and picked out a perfect glass of wine for the birthday girl. They even had a card on the table for her. Best steak I’ve had in a long time! I’ve had a lot of meat in my mouth, but none quite as juicy, well-seasoned, and tender as what they cook up at this grill. Absolutely incredible. 10/10, would put their meat in my mouth again.
