I'm sorry to give only 3 stars but wontons in shrimp wonton soup had tails still on some of the shrimp in the wontons. I hope this was an accident and not the way they are supposed to be made. But being unfamiliar with shrimp wonton, maybe thats the correct way. Sorry, but I didn't like it with the tails still on the shrimp.

4.5/5. This is a quaint, cozy restaurant that has maximized their in-house seating to the ultra pro max. Congee is solid, wonton noodles were el dente, and the doughnut was crispy and satisfying when biting into it. Just know that they are very popular so there’s usually a ten to fifteen minute wait usually whenever we go and that you’ll most likely end up rubbing elbows with strangers as it is a little full in the restaurant. Mike’s Noodle House is a true neighborhood gem. It’s been around for years, and I actually remember eating here about 20 years ago. This was my wife’s first time, and I’m happy to say it was just as good as I remembered.

The broth was rich and flavorful, the wontons were juicy and plump, and the brisket was tender. We tried both the dry noodles and the noodle soup, and both had great flavor and generous portions.
