I've been here 2 times this past month and I think it's a winner. There's some Japanese food competition in Wallingford but Minato has Magee to open a quick to go donburi spot with fresh and delicious foods. The portion size is actually quite generous and they give a lot of tasty sushi rice. I liked the donburi but you can get a "parfait" too which is a nice smaller size if you just want a bit of something. I was carving unagi but I didn't want the whole donburi so the parfait was just perfect. They have a clean seating area for waiting for your order. I like the calm atmosphere on the inside. It's not a sit in place but you can order for pick up and have a nice meal at home!

Got the chirashi bowl for lunch. It was fine. The ebi (shrimp) tasted the freshest. Definitely won't go out of my way to return. It was a filling bowl.

This place has take out only. Had chirashi for our picnicking at the Green Lake Park today. The chirashi was one of the best. Staff was very friendly. Highly recommended!

We're fans of this takeout only spot! Fish quality is very fresh and prices are reasonable! Service was friendly and quick. We placed our order and it came out in 10 minutes. They have some benches to sit inside while you wait. My husband got the Minato donburi and I got the Chirashi. Both were so fresh and delicious! We ate in the little public space Parklet located in front of Molly Moon's next door.

Got to try this place for the first time and I was super impressed! The chirashi was delicious, excellent quality and portion for the price. Much better than the other neighborhood donburi options in my opinion.

It’s a small place, so you aren’t really able to eat there. There are some benches for waiting without tables. I ordered the salmon donburi and the unagi sundae. Both were delicious. The portion size was good for the price. The salmon was really fresh.

Enjoyed tasty donburi bowls, which were made fresh with generous amounts of protein. We got the Chirashi, Gyu-don, Negi Hama and the salmon avocado sundae cup to sample. My family was happy and we plan on coming back! Ordering online was easy and order was ready at the assigned time. Keep in mind this is takeout only and there is no indoor or outdoor seating. Great customer service! They called to clarify my no ginger request, as the negi hama is mixed with ginger. I'm fine with the ginger mixed in, but did not want the additional ginger and wasabi.

AMAZING CHIRASHI DON PLACE!!!!! This place is a tiny togo spot that specialized in chirashi don bowls. their menu has a great selection of the basic types of sushi fish. the staff are super nice and fast! it's only a togo place but the sushi is high grade and fresh! the pricing is also super affordable. i wasn't too hungry so i ordered a salmon avocado sundae. the season the rice with a sweet soy sauce which offers the perfect umami taste. YOU MUST TRY THIS PLACE!!

The Unagi Sundae is to die for!! So buttery and flaky with the umami sauce and rice, also generous portions for the price. Would recommend to stop by if you’re around!

Takeout only place! Chirashi bowl was $25, so obviously lower quality than $40+ bowls elsewhere. But even then I think the fish quantity was a little less than expected and was disappointed that the fish were cut so randomly. So many corner pieces and uneven thickness. Would be an okay picnic or quick to go, but would rather spend a bit more money

Delicious take out Chirashi bowls at a reasonable price. The sushi rice was well seasoned and paired perfectly with the fresh fish. The unagi sundae is fun and a way to get a few pieces of unagi to go with your Chirashi bowl. My daughter enjoyed the egg and chicken bowl.
