Pricy pastries and desserts that don’t match the expected taste for the price paid. I ordered the matcha basque cheesecake, gateau chocolate and sable cookies. Except for the matcha cake, the others tasted rather flat in flavor and my family didn’t finish the portions. Cake slices were like $9 each. Absolutely amazing! The croissant is out of this world — crispy on the outside, soft and buttery on the inside, exactly the way it should be. The coffee is just as delicious, with a rich and balanced flavor that pairs perfectly with any of their pastries. But what really blew me away was the overall quality of their baked goods. You can tell right away that no shortcuts are taken here. Every single piece reflects a level of care and craftsmanship that is truly hard to find....
