Had two great experiences here. First, the food was delicious. My wife, who spent time in Greece after grad school, raved about how amazing the food was, and my daughter, who is one of the pickiest eaters, loved the pitas. Second, the people were so friendly and nice. We were there on a busy Friday, and in the midst of the chaos they were kind & smiling. Would definitely come back!
With so much available at Pike Place, it can be hard to choose what to get. Luckily, I had a craving for Greek! Mr D's Greek place is fantastic! The lamb gyros I ordered was delicious – I've had gyros in Greece and this one was a strong rival with the best ones in Greece. The lemonade drink was also refreshing on what was a hot day. The walnut baklava was a great sweet to finish the lunch. Friendly and efficient service. I wish I went here a few more times...
Great option at Pike Place. Smelled delicious out front, pita tasted fresh, falafel wasn’t too salty. My order was ready in under 5 min. You can definitely find cheaper gyros in Seattle, but for being in Pike Place, it was about what I expected. There are a few tables with sun umbrellas outside for seating. There are a few vegetarian options including the veggie and falafel gyros.
