Bad service. Food was not in fact fresh. One of the dishes I ordered contained dead flies and the server claimed it was something burned when in fact you could visibly see the wings in the fly. Dishes also did not look like what i ordered. I ordered a bbq pork fried rice and she gave me a shrimp driend rice and without say anything and didn't even say if they didn't have anymore bbq pork. that plate was listed to be $13 but she put it as $15 :/ she tried to charge me extra money but when doing the calculations again, the server brought my bill down due to me checking the calculations myself! so overpriced! EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!!

It's just a great little place to catch up with friends and have a meaningful conversation with family, all while enjoying delicious Asian cuisine. The service is great, not rushing you and very accommodating. The portions are amazing. This was our asian cuisine dinner for Christmas Eve. I love the ladies who work here they're quick to get you what you ask for and even have great humorous banter. If you haven't been to New Star Seafood Restaurant, then you're missing out on a great jewel in the Seattle area.

Ordered food through grub hub. Everything was great and arrived hot except... general Tao's chicken was not my favorite... Chicken part was cooked well and was juicy i was just not a fan of the type of coating they had on the chicken or the sauce they used on it. My favorite was the honey walnut shrimp.

WWWWOOOOWWWWW.... That's all I gotta say right now.. I literally called what used to be one of my favorite places for dim sum in the Seattle area, on Christmas Day, mind you, so this review gets one more star than it should.. but for that reason alone.. cuz I get it, that's my bad for deciding last minute I wanted to go out to eat FOR MY BIRTHDAY, instead of having to cool and clean and entertain everyone including my kids... I called to make sure they were open, and ask if they take reservations, so I could get my name in there and plan around what I assumed would be a busy night.. I get it, I'm not the center of the universe.. well.. the jury's still out.. Anyways, I called and the phone was answered after one and a half rings, followed by me stating I have been calling to ask if they were open, but since she answered, I assumed they were. And I had a couple questions. When she just shouted in response, "we are very busy.." to which I replied, OK, so does that mean you don't want my business? Or are you gonna let me ask you a question? I understand that you're busy, but I don't understand what that has to do with whether or not I choose this place for my family to go to dinner. Also, I haven't even gotten more than are you open? In before a whole bunch of the same information about how busy you are" She then proceeded to randomly tell me again that they were busy, even though I had not asked any other questions. Never once did I ask where they busy, clearly this holiday is not a day that they can handle being open. I am so disappointed in the way that this phone conversation happened that I will not be returning my business there. I feel like I sound a little, whiny and entitled, but I promise you this was not something I have had to deal with from any kind of business that wishes to continue having my business. Especially not during the holidays. If you're all booked up, so you're booked, if you are not taking any more reservations, say that. If you aren't open, and you happen to answer the phone, simple say that. But to tell me, you're busy, and then not even bother to ask me what I needed in regard to my phone call in the first place, or even allow me a moment to say anything or have any questions answered, is just beyond me. Although, like I said, before this USED to be one of my favorite dim sum restaurants in the area, they have great food! However, the service has always been horrible, but it's something you deal with when the food is worth it. Now obviously I can't even bring myself to ever make a reservation or go there because heaven forbid they are busy....

Service was great. The restaurant was clean, and the food was fresh! I ordered a combination dinner. This business does a large amount of carryout service.

Bland Wasn't worth my money and parking attendant still gave me a ticket for parking at their spot so that kinda sucked

We have been wanting to try this restaurant for a while and finally got around to it today. We ordered 3 dishes and all 3 dishes were cooked to perfection. The menu had a good variety of choices (meat, seafood, noodles, rice & vegetables) and the service was great. The food came out quickly with a good amount of "wok hei" in every dish. The portions were good as well. This restaurant will definitely be on our regular rotation.

Best Chinese Restaurant in town! Delicious Peking Duck, Pepper Salt Pork Chop, Lobster, Steam Fish, Honey Walnut Shrimp, and sweet soup of Taro Tapioca coconut milk! Very happy after the meal ? Our favorite family birthday restaurant!

There is no customer in this restaurant on Sunday dinner time. We decided to skip the long waiting line in the neighbors Chengdu memory which has long waiting line outside.Dishes are okay but price is little pricy.

Not as busy as pre pandemic days but same owners. Great food there which is still very delicious and lots of flavor. The lemon chicken is still one of the favorites of my brother. I like their fried rice and fish. International District parking is scarce but they have parking spots allocated for their patrons. Area is not the same as 5 years ago when I visited Seattle. There is more homeless in the area but I did not see any near the restaurant. I felt safe going there with friends and relatives. Ate several times this past week there. Highly recommend. I eat there every time I get into Seattle.

I'm visiting from out of town. Placed order for beef shrimp and chicken fried rice plus egg rolls. Menu states there is a charge for additional ingredients; therefore I thought I would get charged for 2 additional meat items. When the food arrived there was no beef and no soy sauce. I called the restaurant and they said there was a charge for additional meat so I said I knew that so why didn't they charge me. When I asked where was the soy sauce they had no logical response.

Food is amazing. Great choices. Perfectly prepared. I've never had a bad bite there.

I have eaten here for years and always come back! They have a very extensive menu, hundreds of items. Always consistent quality, at a very reasonable price. They have parking too, which is almost unheard of in the ID.

Food was bland. Peking Duck I ordered was bland and tasteless, and so was the noodles I ordered. It looked appealing at first but I was soooo disappointed. I wasted $45.
