OK so I have a mixed opinion on this place. It's very cozy, the seating is a bit cramped since the restaurant isn't too large and I felt very intimate to the conversation of our neighboring table without wanting to. The service was good, the food was delicious, cocktails spot on, but definitely not worth the price we paid. I'm going to deduct the amount we spent on cocktails just to be fair, but for my fiance and myself it was around the ballpark of $240 before...

We have been to Nishino several times over the years. Unfortunately, its charm has been diminishing. The items on the ‘specials’ sheet didn’t stand out (creativity wise) compared to other sushi restaurants. The nigiri pieces are excellent; we ordered multiple rounds. Nice atmosphere, and you can use the Amex Plat resy credit here, but it's rather overpriced for what it is. The fish is generally good quality, but is a lot more expensive than I otherwise expected.
