Nue offers comfort food inspired by multiple countries culinary tradition, from South Africa to Japan and the Caribbean. The interior decoration is full of travel memorabilia worth spending a time exploring and reading through the various travel books.

We went there for brunch and had the pineapple cornbread and their signature South African Sunny Bunny. The cornbread was good, but it was the Sunny Bunny that stole the show. A very comfy and rich delicious curry...

Nue is easily one of the most unique food spots we’ve tried in Seattle. The menu feels like a tour of street food flavors from around the world, and every dish we ordered was packed with flavor and beautifully presented. The portions were generous too, which made the experience feel even more worth it.

The highlight for us was definitely the giant curry soaked toast topped with fresh herbs and cream. Super rich, flavorful, and unlike anything we’ve had before....

On our recent visit to Seattle we made it a point to try all new restaurants. No repeats from previous visits and Nue was at the top of our list for its international flair. I booked a reservation weeks out and we got our party of nine right in for brunch on a Sunday.

We just loved the vibe of this place from the moment we arrived. The decor. The ultra friendly staff who greeted us and sat us at our table. And I always love an open kitchen in the dining room.
