Warm staff, this super friendly spot is just the perfect place to practice your Spanish. They offer fun, interactive activities in Spanish all the time, like trivia, knitting, karaoke and movie nigths, and I can't think of a better setting to improve your fluency as a speaker in a relaxed social setting. The owner runs a wonderful language school adjacent to it, so if you take classes there it is a fantastic bonus as a student, and if you are not a student, you benefit from a built-in crowd of students to practice with. The owner is super sweet and as a Spaniard myself I can tell you Olé Café is a little gem in Seattle, and you should definitely, definitely check it out.

The owner hosts a spanish speaking day for all levels of spanish. A part of the cafe is set aside for spanish learners to practice conversation. The host is eager to help you improve your spanish. The service is free and was mostly beginner and intermediate learners.

I came here to improve my very rudimentary Spanish. The staff was super welcoming and receptive. There was learning group in the cafe that was playing a game in Spanish and the staff invited me to join them. Great atmosphere and I’ll come back again.
The friendliest location in Seattle; you can chat or just listen to people speaking

This is a wonderful cafe with a very clever concept: only Spanish spoken inside. And it's strictly enforced--but in a nice way! The owner is charming and the food and drinks are excellent. I believe that the owner also gives lessons and I'm sure that she's very good at that as well.

Love this Ole Cafe! Fantastic place to meet new friends and speak Spanish. Great vibes and I am still thinking about the incredible depth of conversation I had in Spanish. The coffee and delicious torta is a bonus!

I visited this place back in 2018/2019 before Covid and stumbled across it again just recently via google maps. Had such a bad experience there that I remembered it vividly even 3 years later. Terribly rude employees and bad, over priced food.
We went there thinking it might be fun to check out a place that requires everyone to speak spanish, just to try something different. It was not....the people were not friendly to us and the food is not much better than frozen dinners. Huge disappointment and we will never go back.
Great place to learn or practice your Spanish!! Best coffee in the area!!Friendly staff!!
I've visited twice and have loved it. Great food that reminds me of my past life in Spain (the tapas and tinto de verano are really well done), and it's a really lovely way to keep up my Spanish. The cafe is also baby-friendly, which is a huge plus. I will be back many more times and would encourage anyone to go, no matter their level of Spanish.
friendly, casual
