Everything was perfect at this restaurant! We loved the food and service was quick. I would recommend coming a little before the rush because the place is small. We got onigiri and some appetizers. I loved mentaiko and tuna. They also had a unique selection of Japanese beers. Would definitely come back!
My friends were telling me that this spot has some of the best onigiri and I saw that I had this place bookmarked so I was really excited to stop by. The restaurant is definitely tiny and they do have an outdoor spot but they don't offer outdoor dining, so not sure what that is about. Although if they are full, they ask for your name and it seems like that is where you're supposed to wait to get called. I know this as we were told it would be about a 20 minute wait so...
Food was delicious. At first, I was disappointed that there was no sashimi or nigiri, but I tried something new standard grilled salted sake bowl with standard tea pour over and light rice. It was great. I almost didn't try it because of the negative reviews from trusted local guides, but I don't know what kind of a snob this person is. I thought it was a good meal.
