Oriental Mart Filipino Restaurant

Its not a sit down restaurant, but they serve the BEST Salmon Sinigang dish ever! (filipino version of Salmon sour soup). They get their fish fresh from pike place! They sell out so try to get it early!

Tourists beware! The food is decent but WAY overpriced. And I mean WAY overpriced. I understand...I get it...this place is a tourist trap at the Pike Place Market. I was in the Navy and was in PI. Phillipine Islands. Pancit was like $1 per serving. Pork adobo was maybe $2 and chicken adobo was about $1.50. There is no way this should be charging over $18 per entree. Yes, it's in the United States and at the Pike Place Market but it's a rip off.

Thank me later, the one main thing to order: Salmon Sinigang

Ladies working were super nice and I’ve tried the other dishes but the Salmon Sinigang is the true star of this place. Fish fresh directly from pike place market makes it one of the best!

P.S. Several US TV shows have featured this store on television and they all raved about the Salmon Sinigang.

Absolutely the best food in Seattle!! Dinuguan and longanisa are a must try dishes. Dinuguan is a type of pork soup with semi strong flavor, longaniza is sweet but full of flavors as well. Make sure you pour some vinegar on it!! Trust Ate Lei and she will feed you with yummy food! Amazing place

Amazing food! This is by far, hands down the best food you can get at the Pike Place Market located downtown Seattle. The Oriental Mart offers exceptionally great service that you can’t find anywhere else. If you haven’t had a chance to eat the chicken adobo you’re definitely missing out. I highly recommend checking this place out, and taking time to dine in the open hall seating as everything is so lively and vibrant!

Finally got to eat here and it was great food. I also want to shoutout the ladies there and thank them for the great customer service they displayed. Genuine people making great food!Will definitely be back and I recommend everyone to go.

Great adabo and friendly owners, a definite must stop

My girlfriend and I got the longanisa to go and squirreled it back to our shop. The food came out fast, it tastes great, the lady who runs the whole operation was pleasant to talk to as well. Can't wait to go back soon.

The whole experience feels more like being invited to their own home and chef Lei cooked for us. We are grateful for the
warm sinigang, lumping and fried salmon collar! This will be our last stop before heading back to SF.

Definitely a hidden gem. The food is so good. You have to try the salmon soup. Big punch of flavor!

Also seating can be tight as it is counter sitting. Recommend getting a seat then go order food.
