It's always a treat to enjoy the atmosphere and AMAZING fish & chips at one of Seattle's most iconic dive bars. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the Fremont neighborhood!
I first came here in 1996 and Seattle was a very different place then. Places like the PI were a true blending hole where on one side of the bar stool you may have a teacher having just got off work and on the other side two fishermen speaking only in Russian.
This is one of the last vestiges of true cultural diversity and social immersion with a staff that at times may seem preoccupied but that preoccupation is usually in service of a customer just like you or me.

Great place to unwind with locals and travelers alike. Our servers were attentive and friendly as they took our drink and food orders. Don't miss out and do yourself a favor and head to the Gas Works Park nearby
