We enjoyed the food. Three of us shared two appetizers, mini fondue and blistered shishito peppers, both were very good. The entrees two Black Cods and one Pork cheeks were also good as was the coconut cream pie dessert. Service was excellent. We would definitely be back.
What was not to love? I walked in here on a rainy Friday night hoping for a table for two to celebrate a friend's birthday and they set me up with a reservation right away after getting shut down by two other nearby restaurants. Every single dish was prepared perfectly. Very high skill cooking with robust flavor profiles. Collard greens were superb. Perfect lobster mushrooms. Juicy, flaky trout, tender hanger steak. I have eaten at many high end tasting menu restaurants such as Providence and Spagos in LA, Wmerils in New Orleans, Charlie Trotters in Chicago back in the day, and Mori Moto's in Philadelphia, and this Seattle gem blew me away as it was so unexpected.
