Okay. The lady that works here is so friendly and sweet. The Tower of London is some of the best tea I've ever experienced. And this place is so adorable and fun. Please stop by there if you love tea.
While in Seattle, I bumped into this CUTE storefront, tastefully tucked in a nearby alley. The employee took the time to share her extensive knowledge on teas, overviewing oolongs and other nuances to me. I have sought other tea spots, but nothing quite hits the mark like this spot did. Needless to say, I began online ordering. The shipment was fast in beautiful packaging with a handwritten note. The tea is excellent as well. I do recommend this spot if you’re exploring loose leaf tea.
Lovely staff, easy shopping experience
So cozy and such a great tea selection! Loved chatting with the folks inside too. Will absolutely love to come back
Lots of delicious options and helpful, friendly staff. Not very many pre-packaged options but lots of awesome options available to purchase by weight. The 2 oz minimum is a bit of a bummer but I understand that it makes it more convenient for the employees.
Have a fabulous visit back in Jan on my birthday exploring Pike Place Market area!
Cute shop but if you can't sit down with a pot of tea is it really a tea room? Great selection of loose teas, they can make you a cup hot or cold, but it's a tea shop as opposed to a genuine tea room. No chairs, tables, teapots, or milk/ cream. But the to-go almond cookie tea was good.
Variety of Tea options all good
Would have had a better experience had the staff not ridiculed me for my question. All I asked was about if they knew of a certain benefit that some teas might have. She told me I had to go to a licensed apothecary and went on and on. She was patronizing and Ill informed( although you cannot make claims to the health benefits you could say: this has been known too...). All she she had to say was she didnt know instead of making me feel weird about it.
This was such a find next to Pike Market! Finding and buying tea here was very comprehensive and also very easy. I told the worker some flavors I liked and she brought out some recommendations. Both of the workers there were highly knowledgeable and helped me find what I wanted. I even learned that you can re-steep tea from them! The loose leaf tea I bought easily got through TSA in my carry-on. Highly highly recommend visiting here to find a flavor you enjoy!
Restaurantji Recommends
polite staff and a good selection of tea
I bought a blood orange black tea from this shop a year ago while I was visiting from out of state. I've been meaning to post a review since I visited, but I'm glad to be able to share now. I had a lovely experience buying in-store. The staff was so helpful and knowledgeable. I'm still drinking the tea, one year later, and it's still fresh and brews perfectly. It's never been bitter - even when I forget I've started a tea and over-brew it. I hope every tea lover has the opportunity to step into this shop. I recommend it to everyone visiting Seattle.
The staff made some great recommendations on their large selection and helped us pick a few to try.
Spent about a hour trying to find this place because the market is in every direction. I called and gave my location and I was given great instructions on how to find them. Once I got in there, I was warmly greeted. I was able to pick out a couple of teas for myself by providing what I normally drink. I hope to come back one day if I'm ever in Seattle again.
I could not recommend enough!!!! Beautiful recommendations and information presented in a non pretentious manner!! The staff were so lovely and indulged my fascinations and even recommended some sources for tea and also diy instruments :) If you have a chance to swing by, don’t pass it up!! Ill make a point to come here as often as I can when I’m in Seattle!
