Stopped here finally and had Tom Yum Talay with side of rice and Thai tea. It was very flavorful, soup had a good spice balance, tea tasted refreshing. Place was clean, inviting, service was great. Will come again to try different dishes.
There are maybe half a dozen Seattle Thai restaurants that stand out from the rest. (I like standard Seattle Thai fare plenty. But...) I think Pestle Rock is the best. Both the quality and the delicious flavors are a big cut above. I've eaten here maybe 20, 30 times? Check it out.
First time back since moving from Ballard several years ago. Still delicious, with those Thai flavors you just won't find anywhere else. The staff was super nice, even though we came in the last hour before closing with kids. Spicy Guay Tiow Tom Yum was a hit. The space is casual but has a good feel. Even though we went as a family, I feel like this would be an awesome venue for a date. It has the potential to be romantic, but you also might learn about your date by taking...
