I think they changed the owner? I might be wrong but just that the Pho doesn’t taste the same:( so sad, it was so good that we couldn’t go anywhere else. It’s still fair but not outstanding. The remodeling is nice. But the service is quite basic, they didn’t come to check if we needed something else even it wasn’t that busy.Good business still without mine you’re doing just fine ?

The broth is different. Used to come here every Monday for years before they closed and remodeled. I don’t know what happened but it’s different. Not necessarily bad it tastes decent still like pho but just doesn’t hit the same if you know what I mean

I love “cafeteria” style restaurants and they are so scarce in the US. The pho was incredible. Rich flavors in a delicious broth, make sure to ask for the chili sauce if you want a little kick.

My my my what a fantastic pho restaurant in the US. Honestly the best pho I’ve had in the US. From the moment you park your car you can smell the pho as you open the door. Soup was aromatic, good amount of fresh basil and bean sprouts. Downside to their dish is standard US quality rice noodles which has a terrible taste in general. Their use of meat could improve from fattier beef. But still an excellent experience. Very clean inside and was kept throughout the kitchen. Will be visiting again next time I’m in Seattle.

Newly renovated bright lively space. Same delicious pho! No longer cash only.

The soup is nowhere near as deep or flavorful as it was before. It's more stereotypical modern pho flavor, with traces of it's old flavor.Takes forever to get server's attention, so order fast. The server surprised me and slapped the to go container down. Didn't acknowledge us and gave us poor service throughout the meal.Edit: food poisoning. 2 now 1.

As a long time customer of pho bac, I used to absolutely love their bun bo hue. It was sour, spicy, filling, and the meat was so abundant. However, their quality had gone down this past year. My friend and I both got bun bo hue and my bowl had less meat than hers. Our broth was also lacking in flavor (used to make me sweat) and the noodles were actually hard. Hopefully they make a change because this used to be my favorite pho spot.

I heard this place was the oldest Pho restaurant in Seattle and was excited to try it out. What a disappointment...one of the worst pho I have ever had - broth was room temperature and yet the noodles were overcooked and mushy. The rare steak would not cook and came out gamy and rubbery. Would not pay $15 for the smallest bowl of Pho I have seen. Please do better if the only thing you have on the menu is Pho.I would hands down vote for Thanh Thao or Wicked Chopstix over Pho Bac.

We came on a Saturday for lunch.Pho: we ordered #4 and #13. The noodles were overcooked and mushy. The broth was meh. It didn't have the deep, beefy taste but more mild.Service: There was no one acknowledging us as customers when we walked in so we proceeded to the counter. We waited about 10 minutes after asking a server for a table. They didn't fully clean the table so we had to wipe the table on our own. We waited about 10 minutes for our food, which seemed a bit slow for a pho place.Ambiance: more like cafeteria style. The restaurant is rectangular with a bunch of tables. You ain't coming to eat pho in style so I get it. No need for fancy tables/chairs and decorations. BUT the restaurant was too bare...No, I would not come back. I'm just shocked at how bad the pho was despite the hype.

Food hit the spot, still a staple for 30+ years of consistency. Service was slow with a 90% full dining area. My table was not fully cleaned before I was seated. Location recently reopened after long remodel. Remodel was worth the wait. Clean white open space. Matching furnishings, settings and decor are streamlined. Door entrance moved facing Rainier Avenue (old entry has nice greenery). Lowered counter space where staff takes orders & process pickups and payment. Bathrooms totally upgraded and have keycode entry for each stall- very secure setting. Credit cards accepted with 3% processing fee, no fee if cash/debit card (noted at top of menu). Hours are 8am-9pm.Glad to see you back in the neighborhood PB!

Service was horrible. Was seated, order taken and then forgotten about for 30 minutes. We watched 3 other tables be seated. We waved down our server who then come by and asked if anyone took our order yet. After we told her that she took our order she asked for it again before going back to the kitchen to finally bring out our food. She blamed the computer for not recording our order even though we saw 3 other tables get their order with no issues. She clearly forgot and didn't want to take responsibility. Won't be coming back.
