I have been to Piatti many times. I find the food to be inconsistent and the service excellent. When they get the food right, it is great. This sums up our most recent experience. Our Ceasar salads were very over-dressed, the croutons were stale, the dressing lacked a Ceasar flavor. We ate about a quarter of our salads and then flagged down our waiter. They definitely took care of the situation - agreed they were over dressed, offered new ones or an alternate and ultimately removed...
ALMOST walked out..got seated quickly but we sat there for over 20+ minutes no server no water no one spoke to us, etc.
But once I notified the hostess it felt like the whole team sprung into action, apologized several times, made sure we were taken care of 👏👏 so glad we didnt leave because the food was absolutely amazing and service was great.

The food was good, nothing too crazy. I personally had the buratta and the pesto campanelle which were both delicious. We were seated in the outdoor area and the restraunt allows dogs, which is fine. The group seated next to us had 2 small dogs that were barking loudly almost the whole time we were there and getting into fights with each other. The owners also repeatedly allowed their dogs to come right under our table. Not only did the staff never say anything about the disturbance,...
