We had a really nice lunch. I ordered the burger, and it was excellent. My lunch companion ordered the grilled cheese and tomato soup, and loved it. (She apparently gets it every time!) we were able to get in and out in about an hour, which was nice...
Second time visit, flew in from AZ to visit my son. Second visit to The Purple Cafe. Stewart took very good care of us, recommend the Confit Duck Ragu and it was as good as Stewart said it would be. My son had the Salmon and enjoyed that dish as well. Purple will be on the agenda for our next visit in October.
The food was just okay. Their wine selection is great and the wine we chose was good. Their food was disappointing. Not much flavor and selections for entries were limited. Lunch is better and service seated at the bar is very good.
