Ramy on Capitol Hill is a restaurant I really wanted to love. The space is beautiful, intimate, and thoughtfully designed, and the cuisine itself is genuinely excellent. The flavors were creative, layered, and memorable throughout the meal. There were some really strong combinations across the menu, and from a purely culinary standpoint, there’s a lot of talent coming out of the kitchen.

The food was okay…they have a unique and inventive spin on Vietnamese cuisine. However, the dishes seem to miss the mark. We got the Bo Ne with the New York strip, which was like a deconstructed Banh Mi. But the steak was super salty. The Shrimp Benedict was fine.
