The sour salted fish stew at Red Pepper is probably one of the best dishes I've had in a long time. Get it mild unless you really like spicy food, becuase it sneaks up on you. I ate it with rice, their chili oil, and the pickled vegetables and the whole thing was ridiculously good. Not trying to be dramatic, but I've caught myself thinking about this meal multiple times since I had it 😂. Definitely ordering it again.
Sat down, was handed water. They have the menu via QR code. Didn’t know the lunch specials are only M-F (9.99), wasn’t told nor did I saw it on the menu until the waiter came to take my order. Waited a bit for them to return and waited a bit more for the food. The food was actually really good. I got the Kung Pao Chicken for 16.99 plus rice ($2). Unless you have a big appetite, one can feed two people, you’ll just have to buy two rice. I’ll probably order to go next time.
I'm very happy with the food and service today I received. I came in with 2 heavy suitcases. Once the young waiter saw that, he opened and held the door for me and helped me seated at a comfortable place. The taste of the dish served wasn't the taste expected. The waiter told the kitchen and quickly fixed it. Strongly recommended this restaurant.
