This is really the bar for Daniel's Broiler. There does seem to be another room that is specifically whiskey themed? But I imagine it's for special events and the staff just pointed me to the normal bar when I asked for the Rickhouse by name. The bar itself was pretty large and well decorated, with yes a decent whiskey selection. The cocktails with specific higher end bourbons are fun too. Service was impressive, but ultimately I think just one person stretched too thin....
I was a little dissapointed in this venue. I have been to Daniel's Broiler before in another location, and it seemed way superior to this location. I ordered black cod, and it was not good - the texture of the fish was slimy, the rice sticky, the sauce didn't work well with the whole dish. Windows were dirty. Just ok, would not go back!
We were a table of 13 and unfortunately the service experience didn't quite match the quality of the food. With only one server handling our entire table, the wait times were noticeably long throughout the evening — from drinks to mains, we found ourselves waiting more than we'd hoped. We also had several European colleagues with us, and the pace at which our server communicated made it difficult for them to follow along and feel comfortable asking questions or placing...
