I did not expect to breeze into this place without a reservation, and get better food for less money, with more attentive service than its cross-town rival for fancy Italian. The asparagus was great, and the seasonal ravioli dazzled my friend and I both. I dare say that if this were closer to the Cap Hill core, it would be as packed as 'the other place on 14th'.
Always impressed, my favorite ESR. A simple menu done well. Happy hour prices are fabulous. The vibe is great, I love being able to see the cooking. It’s always clean and the wait staff have always been great over the years. The place opens up for great air flow in the summer, and they also have outdoor seating. I had dinner on Friday night April third at RioneXIII with a good friend and upon my arrival I discovered that my friend forgot to make reservations. Normally this would have been a big problem because they are always busy and it was 6pm which is their busiest time, but Elie the restaurant manager was able to rearrange her table reservations to accommodate us.
