Great experience dining at San Fermo last night. The service was outsranding, the food was amazing. Highly suggest the Charred Onion as a starter. Loved the meal there will be back soon!
The vibe of this place is lovely and romantic, but with the built in 23 percent service charge before tax and the pasta being salty (tavolata is much better imo) I don't think we will be returning. They need to revisit this service charge as it is quite the turn off.
I enjoyed the meal but was expecting a bit more given the reviews and how much I’ve heard about this place. The food was pretty good but not mind blowing. The service didn’t meet expectations either. It wasn’t particularly busy but it took a long time for our waiter to take our order (tables who sat after us had their waiter come take their order before ours came to take ours) and even longer for our waters to be refilled. My experience just did not live up to the price...
