Wow just wow. This place is amazing. They say never get a steak at a seafood restaurant but boy and I glad I did. It was amazing melted in your mouth. With a nice crust on the outside. Shaker + Spear is a special place: menu isn't expansive but everything is done with so much care, and the result is worth it. Service is prompt but this is not a place to be in a hurry. Modest by solid wine list, easy to pair with the menu items or just sip. Dungeness Crab, Hamachi Crudo, or a salad are fine openers, and the risotto (GF or able to be made GF) and the duck breast are hard to pass up. We really appreciate the GF offerings/modifications.

Phenomenal food, great service, great ambiance. Unique and creative flavor profiles — not your typical Seattle seafood restaurant. Probably the best seafood I’ve had in this city and I was born and raised here. I will be back! We went with Hector’s suggestions for our first few dishes and he did not let us down.
