Went for a fairly straightforward drop-in to meet a friend of mine for a quick beer. They poured me a Guinness and it even had foam art, which I thought was a fun touch.

It wasn’t super busy and the waitress who was also working at the bar was very prompt and checked in on us. And when we had to leave and take an iced tea to go she graciously set us up to leave in a jiffy.

Yes, it’s a greater Seattle Irish pub chain. And it was good. If I had the bandwidth I’d pop back for Saint Patty‘s Day! Until I eat here again, I can’t comment about the food— but the menu looked promising with your typical American Irish fare.

(After swinging by I realized I had come here once before around a decade earlier. There was a band playing then and we had Jameson’s and beer and it was a lot of fun. But my recollection is a bit hazy regarding the details)

I stopped in here for a bite and a beer after looking at a few reviews of local establishments. I honestly don't think this is 4.6 quality. The service was good, however server kind of stretched. Their beer selection was decent; one of my favourites; the Irish Death available. I recommend being careful ordering; look around. I had ordered 2 pc fish and chips and it was disappointing. I should have gone with the stew based on checking the neighbouring table. They've a decent list of scotch if you are so inclined. Overall a good not great experience.

$US 41 without tip; 1 beer, fish n chips, 1 oz scotch.

I am very skeptical of any reviews these days. Completely shocked that this pub had high ratings. We went on a quiet afternoon. It was happy hour which meant cheap Paddy shots, cheap crisps etc. We did have a nice young woman as our server. Attentive and nice. The atmosphere was what you might expect on St Patrick's Day vs an average Tuesday. I mean, do you REALLY need to be blasting Irish tunes the entire time?

The food was a "family recipe" of chicken pot pie. Basically it was reheated chunky chicken slop with a puffy pastry. It did not have good flavor and definitely questioned when it was prepared, reheated, and served. The chicken wings were overly breaded and sauced. The best thing we ate were the potato crisps which came with a tiny plastic ounce cup of onion dip.

Sadly disappointed as we really wanted good, fresh pub food. To make matters worse, it was over $100 for us. 3 food items, 2 drinks each. Seattle restaurant owners, we feel your pain with minimum wage and cost of ingredient but can you please DO BETTER?? This place is definitely 2 thumbs down.

Good drinks if you don't mind paying $10 each. The food is also top dollar although not top notch, just okay. Good service and a nice place, though.

Overall, it was an enjoyable place to try some Irish food near downtown Seattle. I liked their selection of food and beer, and the staff we interacted with were nice, with no issues there. The food was extremely salty, however. My companion loves to salt their food, but they even said it was way too salty and only ate two wings because of how salty it was. That's saying a lot, trust me. Haha. All of the food I thought was oversalted, but maybe it's an Irish thing? I'm not sure, maybe the cook just had a heavy hand tonight. I would be open to coming back, as it's a great family establishment, but might be weary of some of the dishes I had tonight, which werethe wings, beef stew and boxty.

We came here for a Notre Dame football game watch (Go Irish Beat Trojans). They serve a lot of traditional Irish fare and have all the classic Irish drinks. They also take some liberties (looking at you, Irish nachos), but it works out well. I had a great time and would recommend any fellow Irish fans make their way out here for a game.

Nice Irish pub. We each had a hamburger and a couple of beers. Service was about average. The burgers were not really to our liking. The meat was cooked beyond our requests and was not the quality expected. O'Donnell's might deserve another try, but I will try something other than the burger or might just enjoy a beer.

Updating this review, as I was back again for pre-concert dinner & drinks. Still exceptional, and WAY busier than previous visit two weeks earlier. Chad as host did a great job managing the crowds with humor. I sat at the bar and David, Adrian and Jess were nothing short of amazing, and incredibly hard-working. Updated the pictures to show David’s latest creations, designed during his break on-the-spot per my request!

Original post:
Excellent visit to this Irish Pub and Restaurant. We went prior to a concert in Seattle. The staff, led by manager Robbie, was very attentive and helpful. We originally sat outside, but a sudden rainstorm (yes even strange for Seattle) forced us inside. They accommodated us quickly.

Rachael and Jeff were great getting us drinks and food, which was also great.

And, loved the pre-concert treat on the beer!

I will definitely be back. And hope this same crew is there! ?

I have had bad experiences with the service in the past and have left reviews for them but last night was mostly a good night. As Metallica was having a concert, the bar was packed. The servers were obviously busy but Jessica and Ryan were both did very well under the circumstances. They were both friendly and helpful in the midst of the chaos, and didn’t give the impression that they were inconvenienced by my requests.

My gripe is that we ordered food that never came until I said something. Jessica was surprised it had not are and when it did, the chicken wrap was great but I had to send my boxty cakes back as they were uncooked on the inside. The kitchen obviously rushed the forgotten order but I would have been ok to wait a little longer for properly prepared food.
