I ordered the katsu bento, and the tonkatsu sauce was missing from the box. Since the sauce is a key part of the dish, the meal didn’t taste the way it should. The yaki niku fries were the best part—they were seasoned well and actually enjoyable.

When a dish is missing an expected component, especially a signature sauce, customers rate the meal as less satisfying and less worth the price. That’s exactly how this order felt.

We entered one night looking for something to eat and came back the very next day since the food was delicious! The ramen and the chicken bento are sublime, and the genmaitcha ice cream was just so special...The service is so gentle and nice! Everything took us back to Japan.

The service at this place was excellent and the staff very friendly. I found the atmosphere lacking. The food on the other hand was not wha I was expecting the yakitori was dry and bland, the soba was cooked properly but the amount of sauce they give to dip in it was barely enough do the amount of noodles. In the end I had planned on spending an evening there snacking but cut it short.
