Go for the view, skip the food and drinks.

Went for the view and a dinner. Party of 6 - all had tickets (only people with tickets were allowed to the bar area).

Drinks were extremely over priced and not that great. Tuna poke tasted weird, the potstickers were soggy, chips were hard and old. Overall no one at my table loved their food.

Our tickets said $10 off a purchase of $20 or more (Mon-Thurs). We were there Thursday night and were surprised when the bill arrived and our ticket discount was not applied.

We asked the waiter and he said it's only $10 off for the whole table and we should've notified him before he gave us the bill.

This didn't make sense because only people with tickets were allowed up, so the $10 discount should've been applied at the very least automatically. We show him on the website that it does not state the $10 off is per table, but rather per ticket.

We paid the bill in full with no discount and will not be returning to the Smith Tower Bar or recommending it to any friends.

Unfortunately this was a letdown for us. We had high hopes considering the history of the building and the price but the experience doesn't match up with the location. The cocktails were watered down, the food was mediocre and the wait staff service was uninformed about the menu, inattentive and in general subpar.

The staff in the lobby and both elevator operators were great, very hospitable and funny. Overall a big disappointment that relies more on the nice view and not the experience or service.

Great cocktails and food - reasonably priced food, cocktails a little pricy. Atmosphere is amazing!

Vegetarian options: Quite a few vegetarian options.

Dietary restrictions: Diary free, gluten, and vegetarian options.

We spent $75 per person here for brunch. The eggs were obviously powdered, the least expensive drink available, besides water, was $22, our server was a temp worker that knew absolutely nothing about anything. He confessed that he was "supposed to be washing dishes today", and he was dressed for that. There was chicken sausage that honestly was gross, and not a strip of bacon made an appearance. This little Elton John wannabe, Evan, got his panties in a serious bind when I complained about the poor overall quality of everything, especially after having hiked a few miles up and down the stairs, since the elevator was out of service. Bogus.

Made a reservation and they cancelled it on us exactly when we got there.

For some reason they booked two parties and the space was closed and they allowed us to make reservations, didn’t tell us after the mistake until we got there, and also somehow didn’t have the website blocked out despite probably knowing for a month that it was booked.

We got there and they laughed at how silly it was that it was booked up. This is basic. You should know when you can or can’t accept reservations. Total incompetence.

Food has gone down hill. Veggie stir fry was a pile of spaghetti with a few anemic snap peas and bok choy. And dry. Drinks were OK but spendy… view might make it all worth it.
