So happy to have another option for late night food in Ballard. Everything I've tried on the menu so far has been delicious. My favorite is the Golden Noodle, all of my favorite veggies and basil with a delicious yellow curry sauce. We order for pick up frequently & have never had any issues.
Tonight’s Pad Kee Mao: Thick, flavorful rice noodle, light sweet umami sauce, crisp gai lan, crunchy bamboo shoot, meaty cuts of hearty tomato, fresh bell pepper, all topped with a no worries vibe that would make Marley look uptight. Come on down, the water’s fine.
The service is excellent and the ambience of the bar side of the restaurant is really cosy.
Unfortunately the food was a huge let down. I ordered a Panang curry with tofu - the curry didn't taste authentic like it had been prepared with fresh spices - the tofu was not prepared well either and just chugged into the curry with some pieces of bell pepper. The brown rice was overcooked and mushy.
My partner had a tom yum soup and this was extremely subtle flavors...
