This location isn't my favorite, but it works in a pinch. There is no olive bar here like there is at other locations and I find the organization of the store rather confusion. The layout just doesn't align with the way I shop, which probably sounds weird. I also feel like the inventory isn't as plentiful as the 1st Ave location, but maybe that's just my bias kicking in. We think there is something wrong with this Safeway. Every time we go, either they are short cashiers, or the butcher department is all closed. I don't think they have enough employees. I'd recommend going to TJ's, QFC, or the other Safeway up California.

This is Safeway is now on my way home so I stop in every now and then to get items for dinner. I know there are a lot of one-star reviews but my experience here in mid-May 2019 was a pleasant one. They have an extensive liquor, mixers, wine and beer selection (for a Safeway), a fair selection of organic produce, and I had a short wait for a cashier right after work.
