“I had a chicken hot dog at the "Deez Dogz" food stall in downtown Seattle during my first visit in the first week of December 2024. She was incredibly kind and polite, and the hot dog was absolutely delicious. It felt like a lifesaver in Seattle’s weather, especially since I’m from India and had been missing the bold flavors of Indian spicy foods. This hot dog really helped satisfy my taste buds. Not every meal stays in your memory, but this one definitely did. Now that I’ve returned to Seattle in January, I couldn’t resist the urge to find this shop and have it again, so I wanted to share my thoughts!“

“Everything at Spice Waala is delicious! My go-to is an Aloo Tikki Kathi roll and masala chai. Service is always great, and they do amazing work giving back to people in the community. 💯 recommend this family owned and operated local small business!“

“I love this place. It's great coffee. affordable and better than most pricier places. The ladies (Karen and Lauren) are kind, friendly and super efficient. Add Bri to that mix and good golly that's a fine day.
I generally get, and Americano with sugar-free coconut and cream. It comes out to $2.67. Anywhere else this drink would be $4 or more. More expensive, but doesn't taste better.
They have a punch card. If you tend to not have cash all the time you can get a gift card. This place is the bomb diggity

My friend highly suggests the Red Bull soda with peach and guava. Says that are the best and they give you a good amount of whipped cream.
She says, this drink makes her happy.

In addition, I was reading some of the comments on here about receiving bad service and rudeness. I don't find them to be overly peppy, which is why I go here. Some days so I'll talk is exchanged, and some days they're simply busy. They are efficient and get you your drink in a timely manner. There is not a lot of space for cars to fit into the drive through, especially when you can come in from two directions. I appreciate them keeping it moving.
I hope those that posted those comments are able to do some self-reflection of how they act at their jobs for every single person they encounter.
This place is great“

“I absolutely love this farmers market, and it’s always a pleasure to see this stall here! The food is genuinely delicious, and it’s clear a lot of care goes into the preparation. I personally missed having sambar with the dosa — but I understand they’re showcasing a specific regional style of serving dosa, which is cool in its own right.
That said, I did have two main issues. First, the long queue and wait time. If you’re planning to spend just a couple of hours at the market, a big chunk of it could easily go into waiting at this one stall, making it harder to enjoy the rest of the market. Second, the food felt significantly overpriced. While I appreciate the quality ingredients and small-batch approach, you can get a more complete dosa experience — with multiple chutneys, sambar, variety, quantity and dine-in comfort — at other spots for much better value.
All in all, it’s a tasty treat if you’re already at the market and in the mood to splurge a bit — just be prepared for a wait and a lighter plate.“

“Ordered delivery and everything was excellent and delicious. The Chicken Teriyaki was juicy but had the nice charred edges. The Chicken Curry was full of flavor and not too spicy. the Paratha was the best I've had in Seattle. Should have ordered more. Same with the Mango Lassi , the perfect blend.“
