Colman Dock was well organized and easy to navigate. Boarding was smooth and on time, and it didn’t take long to get on or off the ferry. It wasn’t too crowded when I visited, and the views from the terminal were beautiful, especially on a clear day. Overall, a very pleasant and hassle-free experience.
Rlde a ferry -- a must do for anyone new to Seattle. Explore the shops in downtown Bremerton or Bainbridge Island or simply walk right back on the same ferry and return to Seattle's waterfront. No ticket to buy, Your ticket when boarding in Seattle was a round trip.
Make sure to take the ferry to Bainbridge Island with Washington State Ferries — it’s one of the best simple experiences in Seattle. You only pay one way, and the ride back to Seattle is free for walk-on passengers. Go 15–20 minutes before sunset to enjoy golden hour on the water and the Seattle skyline glowing at night on the return.
