Went to Sunfish a couple days ago after watching a video rating it as the #1 fish and chips place in Seattle. Didn't disappoint! The gentleman who waited on me was polite and charming. The fish was the best I've had...light on breading, moist and flavorful. We went to Spuds the next day and no comparison! Sunfish was much better!
We went for the fish and chips which was supposed to be the best in West Seattle. It was pretty good but breaded instead of battered which I prefer. The fish was fresh and tasty but the breading didn't have much character. The clam chowder was the real star of the show-delicious, and loaded with fresh clams. I would go back just to get chowder.
Food was good but had a weird interaction from the person taking my order. Firstly I tried ordering the small (1 piece) cod with fries. He said they didn’t have it and that they only had the 2-3-4 pieces with fries. He then questioned me if I was by myself or I was with a bigger group. He asked, ‘who are you?
