The food was great, the quality was wonderful. It was my first time coming here. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star was because the service was slow, I think they had an off night. And maybe they were overwhelmed with online orders but they forgot one of my items I ordered and when I made mention of it they took like another 20-25 mins to bring it to my table.
This is the second time visiting. Sushi Taiyo is one of the few sushi restaurants I trust to go. Only other sushi places I go is sushi Kashiba, but I am glad I found this gem much closer to me. They only use freshest ingredients. Staff and Mr Taiyo were very personal and now it’s going to be my favorite :)
If you have a post-japan depression and want to eat some great quality sashimi/nigiri stateside, this is the spot to go. I am very picky about sushi but their otoro was amazing! Their emperor roll is also great. Overall a really enjoyable dinner for us.
