So glad we happened to find this place while driving through Columbia City.This place is great! The non 5-star ratings confuse me. The staff told us that they recently changed their menu and changed some of the food offerings.With that said, we sat at the bar, our drinks were good.For food we started chips and salsa - the salsa was notable, it's legit.We also had Elote, it's served on the cob. we did enjoy it, they went a little heavy on the cheese but thats a minor criticism.Lastly, and most notably was the shredded beef Birria tacos. Highly recommend these, the consume dipping sauce has a great flavor and the hot sauce they serve with them is a perfect addition of you want more heat.The space is well decorated, staff was cool...really glad we went here and recommend you do too.One thing to the mgmt team. The lighting is a bit bright, maybe use soft white bulbs, lower wattage.

Why 3*? Prices. Holy Moses the prices. Don't get me wrong, the food is very good, but family of 5 cost $120. That's....wild for a taco spot. Plenty of places to eat around town that have better food and lower prices in terms of Mexican food. But the people are great and service is top notch.

This was my first time eating here and the food was so BOMB!!! The service is amazing, great happy hour prices and prices in general, the aesthetics are very cute and I absolutely enjoyed myself. I will definitely be coming back!!

Everything from the vibe, the crew and the food was 5 star. The decor has a sexy fun feel to it that gives you lounge vibes. The crew was personable, helpful and attentive. We ordered the chips and salsa and Mac and cheese to start. The salsa was meh for me but the showstopper was the flavorful Mac and cheese. We love a gooey stringy cheese pull. My husband and I ordered a few different tacos. Carne asada, pollo asada, al pastor, chorizo and camarones. Each taco had a different distinct flavor profile that made you stop after each bite and savor the flavors that exploded in your mouth. Will definitely be returning. Especially on Taco Tuesday (all you can eat tacos for $20!) or Wednesdays for all day happy hour!

Haven't been here in a year until tonight. A year ago, it was delicious. Tonight it was not good. My tortilla soup was terrible. The packaged one from Costco is better than the one I ate tonight from Taco City. I couldn't even eat the chicken... ended up throwing out most of it. The tacos were just okay, 5 out of 10. So sad. We were really excited for our Mexican dinner and it was a disappointment.

Guys, I dream about the beef burrito with everything in it. It is that good. Then again, I am a suburban girl who loves Chipotle, but dang--this place has a bombass burrito. The salsa is homemade and so fresh--such awesome chips and salsa--straight up fuego! I am drooling thinking about it. The beef is so smoky, the guac is fresh, and the beans are so homey. I want one right now!!!
