Tamarind Tree is delicious and such an calm oasis inside. I highly recommend the steamed rice paper and tamarind tree crepe dishes. Both were so interesting and tasty. I can’t wait to come back!

I ordered the skewered pork vermicelli bowl, which was wonderful. My food came out in less than 5 minutes. I had FANTASTIC service from Lam (server #8)! She helped me decide what to order, checked on me frequently despite being the only server at the time, filled my water when the glass was half empty, offered more nuc mam, and closed my check quickly. Plenty of parking. Complimentary tea. Be aware that this restaurant is tucked into a corner and easy to overlook.

The food is authentic and outstanding and one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Seattle. The service is just okay, as they are usually understaffed and frequently bring dishes out in varying times. We've even received a main entree after the entire party had already finished their meals. I would love to give it a 5 star review, but the service is really lacking.
