Vietnam House Restaurant Reviews
Vietnam House is one of those places that feels like a weekend family gathering — no frills, just the comfort of well-executed classics. Their specialty is Cơm Tấm (broken rice), and the menu gives you plenty of ways to experience it.
The go-to order is the Cơm Tấm Sườn Nướng ($11.99) — tender grilled pork chop over fluffy broken rice, simple and satisfying. For something richer, the Cơm Tấm Sườn Bì Chả ($13.25) adds shredded pork and steamed egg...read full review

Hidden gem of Seattle. The food is so good, it will make you SHUT UP and EAT. The #49 is never going to be topped for me, anywhere. Forget fancy Michelin-starred restaurants... THIS is the place to go. Their broken rice is actually broken rice, and their dipping sauces are perfection.
Great vietnamese food. Fast and great tasting. Good service and reasonably priced

Vietnam House Restaurant is a well-known spot for Vietnamese cuisine, especially known for their bún ốc (snail noodle soup) which comes with a generous amount of escargot in a delicious soup. Their bún măng vịt (vegetable and duck vermicelli soup) is also a popular choice. The com Tam (broken rice) dishes, such as the com tam suong bo nuong (broken rice with grilled short rib), are well-marinated and cooked to perfection. The restaurant delivers consistent, flavorful dishes that keep customers coming back for more.
Customers praise the restaurant for its authentic Vietnamese food, with some mentioning their love for the bún bò huế, bún thịt nướng, and com tam dishes. The com tam dishes, in particular, are described as solid, with the grilled pork chop, sugarcane shrimp, and deep-fried bean curd being highlights. While the broken rice could use more flavor, the accompaniments provide ample flavor. Despite the slightly higher prices due to inflation, the portions are satisfactory and the quality is great.
