One of the best matchas I’ve ever tried!!! I’m not even exaggerating. Matcha is usually hit or miss but Taz exceeded my expectations. We purchased both earl grey matcha and the brown sugar and added their special banana bread cold foam and vanilla cold foam. I can’t tell you enough how perfect it is, not to mention the service and ambiance. If you want to start your morning right, start with Taz.
I am absolutely obsessed with the Banana Matcha and Earl Grey Tea Matcha! The Banana Matcha is smooth, creamy, and perfectly balanced with natural banana flavor that complements the matcha without overpowering it. I was told this is one of the best matcha places outside of Japan and the line out the door every day had me convinced, but I think this place is a little overhyped. It was good matcha for sure but not life changing, so I wouldn’t go out of your way to get wait around for it (like I did oops) because you might be disappointed that it’s nothing exceptional. It is lovely inside (though with limited seating) and you can watch them make the drinks.
