Fantastic? Every time I travel to Seattle to visit my mother we eat at TFB. My mom is in her mid- 90s and she adores the food here as well. In fact, the proprietors know her on sight. She is a more adventurous eater who tends toward pork and seafood fare. I like the comfort of pad Thai and tom yum soup. All is excellent!
Food is okay, good portion sizes, but a bit overpriced - an order of spring rolls + a tofu pad thai is $36. Doordash did have a deal where the spring rolls were double the order size though.
Excellent customer service!. The staff were attentive and went above and beyond. I can’t share the number of times staff give me to go boxes and ask for a tip. Staff here, packed everything up with care.
The food was delicious. The pad thai was balanced and not too sweet. The tamarind notes, crunch from the peanuts, and tofu all were savored in each bite. The curry was not too spicy and I tasted see cream which added richness and flavor to the galangal and chicken.
