I recently visited this restaurant with my kid and my friend family. It was the first time visiting for me and my friend highly recommended the crepe. I am so glad I tried it! The crape is gluten free (please double check it yourself. I am not allergic to gluten but I am sensitive so I eat rice if I have a choice). The crepe is nice and crispy, the shrimp and bean sprouts are freshly tucked inside of the crepe. Eating with Romain lettuce and fresh herbs are so refreshing! Spring roll salds (shrimp) was a good portion. My kid had Chicken Phoʻ and they enjoyed the flavor. The service was nice and friendly and they were attentive. I'm appreciate they've been running their business in the sketchy (it's been sketchier). You could order for a to go.

Really solid Viet restaurant. Their grilled pork is my go to with lemongrass and fish sauce and broken rice. This dish balanced with a nice taste of char and pickled veggies. The soups, stir fry’s and appetizers are all delicous. I’ve been coming here since the 90’s and love that in a time of Tamarind Tree, Green Leaf and fancy Viet inspired cocktails and sugar cane juice, Than Vi has remained consistent. I only wish that there wasn’t so much chaos outside of the restaurant. I hope customers see the gem of this restaurant and are not detracted by what’s outside.

Best pho in Seattle! I always get mine with tendon and most places will only give you a cook couple of tiny pieces but not Thanh Vi. The broth is rich and the chili oil is actually somewhat spicy! (For some reason that’s rare in Seattle)
Unfortunately, there are always sketchy people hanging around outside, but don’t let that deter you! They never bother me, and I’m a woman that comes here alone a lot. I appreciate that the workers are kind to them, from what I’ve seen.
