I ate at The Garrison. The food was great; however, the service was beyond horrible . Adam was our waiter. We were a party of two and arrived before the restaurant became crowded. First, I asked if they can make grey goose with pineapple juice, and he said the bar don’t have pinnacle juice. I then went directly to the bar, where the bartender confirmed they do have pineapple juice. When I ordered my second drink, I ordered the same thing and specifically mentioned to Adam that the bar has pineapple juice, yet the drink still arrived without pineapple juice.
Second, I asked for my leftovers to be packed in a Togo container, but instead, he took my leftover to the kitchen and did not package it as requested.
Lastly, had an “ in-kind coupon” that we had to use through the app. We are unfamiliar with the app. He didn’t seem to know anything about the app but worse was unwilling to help, which ultimately led us to not use the coupon at all.
We ended up spending over $250 for the two of us, only to be treated rudely and poorly. Due to the customer service we received, I will NOT be returning.

The atmosphere was great. Sadly, the food was overpriced for how bland it tasted. Oysters tasted bland, bread wasn’t fresh, jumbo shrimp were oddly flacid, and the burger was just ok. The crab dip was good though. One of our oysters looked fishy and when we told the waiter, his reply was “guess you’re not feeling it.” 😑

Great experience on a first time visit. Attractive bar and dining area w nice music selection. Shared their burger with fries. Excellent. Had very nice glass of red wine. Was served complimentary dessert of coconut sorbet which was great. Menu had many interesting selections which i look forward to trying. Service was excellent.

My wife and I had a fantastic Sunday brunch at the Garrison. The food was delicious and service was great! Everything was out quick. We had the ham benedict and crab roll, and both were top notch. We will definitely be back. Strongly recommend the Garrison for a great brunch in Ballard!

Food and wine was not spectacular in anyway….especially for the price. I understand this is hard to accomplish in the US for some reason everything is so expensive etc. We couldn’t even eat our oysters. Sad and still hungry.
This place is everything! My favorite little oasis with perfect food and service. They serve great oysters and awesome drinks. The whole place is cute, but the bar area is my favorite.
