Always fantastic cocktails, plus it's a treat that I can discuss good music with the bartender. Do try something from their unique menu - they provide helpful tips like 'boozy' or 'citrus forward' so you know what to expect! Always a pre-(and sometimes post) dinner destination when in downtown Ballard!
Hazlewood is a great place for drinks with friends. If it get crowded, it can be slow to get a drink, as there is only one bar and it's hard to serve multiple people at once but the wait is worth it. The cocktails are so creative, and they have a good mix of cocktails to choose from; I've never had a bad drink here. This place isn't as good for big groups. There are a couple areas to sit for large groups but it's easier to find seats for smaller groups.

This is the type of place that I've been searching for. I wish that I had a bar like this back home. It doesn't even feel like a bar. It feels like I'm in someone's cozy house.
